Tomorrowland Belgium is one of the biggest and most coveted music festivals in the world. It's a festival that my friends and I have talked about going to for years. Tomorrowland has all different types of electronic music and is a worldwide celebration. People from all ends of the world will attend the festival to celebrate music together. It is easily the most high class and best music festival I'll ever attend. I don't think any other music festival experience will be able to top it. Overall, it was one of the best weekends of my life and I am beyond thankful I got the opportunity to attend it.

When attending Tomorrowland you have the option to camp or stay outside the venue. We decided to camp to ensure we got the full Tomorrowland experience. We camped in an area called Dreamville with thousands of other people. Fortunately, we were able to find an affordable tent and sleeping bags in Amsterdam. The campers that surrounded us included: 10 guys from Israel, 2 guys from South Africa, and a group of guys from Germany. Over the course of the weekend, we got to know everyone really well and they all ended up being extremely cool dudes.

Our home for four days.

Tomorrowland is a three-day festival like most music festivals and all of the campers get to move in a day before the actual festival starts. After we set up our tent and got all situated, we went to go check out the rest of Dreamville. In Dreamville, there are tons of restaurants, food trucks, bars, bakeries, a grocery store, clothing stores, tennis and volleyball courts, and pretty much anything you can think of. They also had this massive stage set up (pictured below) for only the campers to enjoy during the day and night before the actual festival started.

The first day of the festival finally arrived, so we decided to go in as early as possible to check out the entire venue. Upon entering, it seemed that everyone else had the same idea as us. When we entered, we were absolutely blown away and couldn't believe what we were seeing. We checked out nearly every stage in the venue and were both mind boggled. Below are some of the photos I took during our first hour inside the venue.

Overall, the production and music at Tomorrowland was unbelievable to say the least and it's a weekend I'll remember for the rest of my life. Below are some of my favorite moments I captured during the mayhem of the festival.

Some of my favorite Mainstage photos.

DJ Diesel, better known as Shaquille O'Neal, played at the Rose Garden and the crowd went ballistic the entire time.

Luckily, we were able to meet up with a group of Cal Poly students that also happened to be going to Tomorrowland. Above is one of our Fraternity brothers and good friend, John Schmidt. He had been studying abroad all summer in Barcelona and made the impulse decision to come join us.

Thanks again for reading. Now headed to Paris, France!
